The operational amplifiers (op amps) LM358 and LM2904 are industry standards and feature two high-voltage (36 V) op amps. The LM358B and LM2904B devices are the next-generation versions of these devices. With features like low offset (300 V, typically), common-mode input range to ground, and high differential input voltage capabilities, these devices offer exceptional value for cost-sensitive applications. The improved properties of the op amps LM358B and LM2904B, such as unity-gain stability, a lower offset voltage maximum of 3 mV (2 mV for LM358BA and LM2904BA), and a reduced quiescent current of 300 A per amplifier, simplify circuit design (typical).
The LM358B and LM2904B devices may be utilised in the most demanding, harsh environments because to its high ESD (2 kV, HBM) and inbuilt EMI and RF filters. The LM358B and LM2904B amplifiers are offered in industry-standard packages including SOIC, TSSOP, and VSSOP in addition to micro-sized packaging like the SOT23-8.
